Between 2006 and 2011 I fronted a London indie band called The Foxes. We toured the UK, America and Europe. We had songs in the UK indie charts. We recorded at some of the best studios in the world. We met with EMI in London and Warners in LA. Alan McGee said we’d already made it.

We didn’t quite get there.

This Substack publishes selected entries from the diaries I kept in real time throughout those years - and the years that followed. Every entry is exactly as I wrote it at the time, unedited and unvarnished. The hope was real. The emails were real. The near-misses were very, very real.

New posts here every Thursday.
